Submersion Festival is rooted in the underground, built on years of intentional booking and community driven events. Our past lineups reflect artists shaped by UK bass culture, European drum and bass, dubstep, and experimental electronic scenes, alongside North American producers pushing those sounds forward.
The festival is an extension of the work done by Aspire Higher and Transmit, two Philadelphia based collectives with a long history of throwing shows that prioritize sound, atmosphere, and culture over trends. Submersion brings those global influences and local roots together, creating a space where the music and the people it’s meant for can fully connect.
